The add-on asks for two permissions: to read the one document you have open, and to show a sidebar in it. It cannot see your Drive, your other files, or your email. The checks run inside Google. We never receive your content. See the privacy policy.

Honest about what it is

Automated checking cannot determine legal compliance — no tool can. A clean report does not mean your document is accessible, and conformance needs human judgement and testing with real assistive technology.
